Touchtown Enhanced Messaging offers an additional channel for delivering key information to residents, staff and family members via SMS text messaging.
The Touchtown platform allows communities to create contact groups allowing distribution of communications to residents, staff and family members quickly, such as reminders for staff and residents about events or building maintenance or distributing corporate communications such as weather alerts and company surveys.
To maximise message deliverability and engagement from residents, community communications can now be sent via SMS or Touchtown’s popular interactive community application, Community Apps.
In early 2023, a report from SMS Comparison USA noted that open rates from SMS messages could be as high as 98% – substantially higher than email or other in-app communications, making this a significant enhancement to the Touchtown platform.
